This luncheon is an “all you can eat” adventure with your choice of broths for your individual hot pot, unlimited proteins, along with vegetables and noodles. Please join those who you see “virtually” on our monthly meetings. We think you’ll have a lot of fun as we all “play” with our food.
On September 14th, from 2-4pm, Dr. Christopher Beckman, a researcher focused on the intersection of material culture and subsistence patterns, will delve into the history of anchovy and its shifting fortunes in France and the United Kingdom. This will be a zoom meeting.
Membership is open to individuals, households, and organizations. Individual and household members are eligible to vote, hold office, and serve on committees.
CHoW/DC publishes CHoW Line 8 times each year. The newsletter contains information about upcoming speakers, articles of historic interest, events, publications, and news of the organization’s members and activities.
Meetings are usually held on the second Sunday of each month, September through May, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m
